MS Core Fonts
I recommend that you add the MS Core Fonts to your system. It will make web browsing that much more familiar. Google for "MS Core Fonts" and add your distro's name.
KDE's fish Protocol
KDE has built-in support for SFTP rebranded as the fish protocol. You can access files on remote machines via SFTP like this: fish://user@machine.name/home/user/file.txt.
